The EXPERIMENTAL COLLECTION is the result of know-how, curiosity, tinkering and hundreds of different experiments - many unconventional, some genuinely groundbreaking.
It is where accumulated experience meets the freedom to question established methods, test unlikely combinations and explore what might come next.
RESEARCH THROUGH MAKING
Small-scale trials may explore grain, fermentation, botanical extraction, wood species, toast, char, cask seasoning, infusion, maturation or blending. Most remain part of the Distillery’s internal learning. That is their purpose.
SINGLE EDITIONS
On rare occasions, an experiment achieves a character worth sharing. Those liquids may be released as a Single Edition in deliberately limited quantity, with the method and relevant production details stated as clearly as the experiment allows.
Experimentation here is not novelty for its own sake. It is how the Distillery challenges assumptions, builds knowledge and occasionally discovers something worth releasing.
